BAT: The Return of Italian Luxury to the Sea
65 years of history, from Milan to Rome’s marina—the future arrives in the form of Combat14
There is a certain Italian way of being in the world. It is made up of lines that are never random, of details that tell stories, of hands that transform an idea into excellence. This is where BAT begins anew, celebrating 65 years of history at the renowned Rizcafè.
On April 17, at sunset in Rome’s marina, the sea becomes the stage for the return of an icon. It’s called Combat14 and it’s much more than a maxi-rib: it’s a manifesto of style, technique, and identity.
A project bearing the signature of Corrado Rizzardi, together with production director Alessandro Gioia and architect Gianluca Caput: an all-Italian team capable of translating tradition and innovation into a single, powerful vision.
Founded 65 years ago in Milan, today the renowned brand is built in Lazio. The Combat14 embodies the essence of Made in Italy: bold yet elegant design, premium materials, and meticulous attention to every detail.
The T-Top, reminiscent of the historic “batwing,” is not just a distinctive feature; it is memory becoming the future.
On board, spaces transform, open up, and welcome. Comfort and technology coexist without compromise, shaping an exclusive sailing experience.
And then there’s performance, which speaks for itself: speed, stability, safety. Because Italian excellence isn’t just about beauty—it’s also about substance.
Behind every element lies a network of companies, artisans, and professionals who represent the best of our country. A collaborative effort that demonstrates how true luxury today lies in the ability to create something unique, together.
BAT isn’t just making a comeback. BAT is reaffirming its presence.
And it’s doing so in the most authentic way possible: with the sea before it, and Italy at its heart.
“A special thanks goes to all the companies and technical partners – says Corrado Rizzardi – who contributed to the realization of this project. A project entirely Made in Italy, built in Lazio, thanks to the contribution of: Accentra and Laurenzi for the website and brand image; LZZ by Fabio Luzzi for custom upholstery and seats; Prisma 20.20 Costruzioni Navali; Top System; Mancini Massimo for the boat’s custom steelwork; RC Nautica for the woodwork; Bucciarelli; DM Service for the custom tubulars; Giada 96; DV Network; Gavioli Trasporti; and the video production team Jellyfish from Latina for the creation of the event’s official video content. A team effort that has made BAT’s return possible with a product of excellence and with ambitions to be a leading player in the Italian and international boating scene.”
