Against the stunning backdrop of the terrace at Palazzo Fendi da Zuma in Rome, an event was held marking the return of Callegari, a historic name in Italian yachting, now at the forefront of an ambitious relaunch project targeting major international markets.

Leading the evening’s narrative were Maria Leitner and Maurizio Bulleri, two of the most authoritative voices in nautical and automotive journalism, in a discussion that focused on the future of luxury boating, encompassing technological innovation, sustainability, design, and new sailing experiences.

At the heart of the new range is the Callegari 48, the brand’s true flagship, flanked by the new 9-meter model: two boats that embody the brand’s new identity, built with advanced materials such as carbon fiber and design solutions derived from aerospace engineering, to ensure greater lightness, strength, performance, and efficiency.

Jacopo Recchia, CEO of the Recchia Group, outlined the strategic vision for the project and charted the course for the new Callegari:

«Italy remains our natural starting point, as it is the global boating industry’s key market and the place where the Callegari brand was born and established itself. But from the very beginning, our focus has been on international markets, particularly the United States, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, where demand for exclusive, highly customized, and technologically advanced boats is growing.”

Recchia emphasized that the goal is to restore Callegari to its position among the leading players in the global premium yachting sector, promoting Made in Italy as a synthesis of elegance, technological research, industrial innovation, and construction expertise.

A central role in this new growth strategy will be played by the commercial strategy led by Gianpaolo Capponi, Callegari’s commercial director and a manager with extensive experience in the luxury yachting sector:

«Callegari’s relaunch is based on a fundamental element: the strength of a brand that has written important chapters in the history of Italian yachting. Our task today is to transform this legacy into a modern commercial project capable of engaging with increasingly demanding boat owners in Italy and on international markets.”

And looking ahead to upcoming international events, Capponi adds:

We are building a commercial network and strategic relationships to bring Callegari to the major yachting markets. The season of major international boat shows will begin shortly, from Cannes to Monte Carlo to Genoa: these will be the first major test of a one-of-a-kind project.

The evening at Palazzo Fendi at Zuma was not merely the presentation of a new range, but the manifesto of a new industrial philosophy: to bring an icon of Italian yachting back onto the world stage through a fusion of luxury, aerospace technology, performance, and authentic Made in Italy style.

Callegari returns to the sea on a new course: that of excellence. All-Italian!
