Marco was born in Rome in 1967 and at the age of 12 received his first camera, a Nikon FE, as a gift from his father, which he still keeps and uses sporadically. Since then, he has never stopped taking photographs.

He has a degree in engineering and is a manager by profession. Photography is not his job, but his passion. He lives in Rome with his wife Erika and daughters Ludovica and Cecilia.

Marco has attended courses and seminars held by leading Italian and international photographers, some of whom have become his friends. He has received various national and international awards.

He cares deeply about social and cultural issues; he has photographed people and stories at every latitude, in all temperatures and in all environmental conditions, seeking to establish relationships rather than steal portraits… attempting to capture what is by its very nature destined to pass, man and his affairs.
