Dicó, how does one of your works come to be?
“My work begins with a vision that I can see and feel even before I create it. I see it within myself, and then it comes to life. Every work is like a child, something I’ll carry with me forever.”
You’ve achieved international fame. What has helped you keep your feet on the ground?
“For me, staying humble has always been my strength, even though it’s not easy when you’re in the Hollywood world and being celebrated. I remember my friend Renato Zero once told me: ‘Enrico, you’re a great figure, you’re too humble, you need to show off more.’ But that’s just how I am.”
What do you hope to leave behind through your art?
“In the end, when one day Dicó is no longer here, my works will remain alongside the icon. And I’ll be happy to live on forever through what I’ve created.”
How important is family in your life?
“My family is everything to me: balance, love, and the drive to always do better. You grow one step at a time, but that’s how you reach the top. You must never give up.”
