The stage is dark, with the light shining only on her and her glass ball. Then she begins to tell a fairy tale. Still. Her hands and smile accompany her storytelling artistry, which takes you by the hand and draws you into the story that Lucia Schierano is about to tell her unsuspecting (it must be said) audience. On the opposite side, a piano and a man, Vincenzo Leone, apparently the musician but an indispensable accompanist to the fluid unfolding of the story.
The show “IO Sono” is not just a theatrical performance, but an explanation of what really happened, yet which almost all of humanity is unaware of. The difficulty of bringing such an incredible subject to the stage, one that seems almost like a fairy tale, is unimaginable, and only a great artist can succeed in doing so.
Lucia’s personality succeeded in a feat that, at least I, did not think possible. Yet this story has been talked about, but always in “indirect” ways because the media have been careful not to report it.
Nevertheless, the legal action taken by Heather Ann Tucci-Jarraf in 2012 did take place. This woman entered the ‘room of secrets’ and what she found did not resonate with her values as a human being. With extreme courage, putting her life and that of her collaborators at risk, she decided to speak out and take action that pitted David against Goliath.
The ‘destiny’ she had chosen had prepared her well to face the incredible situation she found herself in.
From there, all the drawers of that secretaire that keeps humanity imprisoned in the current matrix were opened. In practice, Heather Ann Tucci-Jarraf showed why humanity suffers and freed it, even if humanity is unaware of it.
“I Am” is therefore a show that opens minds and, even if it starts with a fairy tale, then takes us into the real world of legal battles and victories.
That’s why we asked this wonderful actress, Lucia Schierano, when the idea for the show Io Sono (I Am) came about.
“The idea for the show came to me in 2021, almost immediately after I discovered and understood the legal action taken by Heather Ann Tucci-Jarraf in 2012 and completed in 2013. Then I wrote the fairy tale that opens the show, dedicated to Heather, entitled IO SONO (I AM), which also gives the show its title. I had to study the legal issues in depth in order to convey them effectively. From the spring of 2024, there were many revised and corrected versions before arriving at the final one, which resulted in the recording made public on YouTube on June 21, 2025, IO SONO “

“Today, Lucia Schierano is a mature woman with a childlike and playful soul, ready to put herself out there without fear.
Given the importance of spreading the word about what happened, what is the schedule for upcoming dates?
“The calendar of upcoming dates is constantly changing. There is still no theater organizer in charge of it. I am contacted directly by those who, having seen the show, decide to propose it in their city. We are currently organizing dates for September 26 or 28 in Rome. The dates for November are certain: the 8th in Trento and the 14th in Bolzano.”
