There is a new way to enjoy Sundays in Florence. Since Sunday, March 8, in the elegant historic spaces of Via de’ Ginori, La Ménagère has been offering its new brunch: a gastronomic experience designed to transform Sundays into a moment of sharing, taste, and beauty.
The project stems from the vision of chef Nicholas Duonnolo and comes to life thanks to the talent and sensitivity of an all-female team, which brings creativity, research, and passion to the table. Sara Halili, Itxaso Zarraga De Diego, Alice Angelico, Doha Arrouch, Elisa Nannucci, and Elena Rosati have created a menu rich in personality, capable of enhancing excellent raw ingredients and elegantly intertwining innovation and tradition.
Brunch is a true sensory journey, a mosaic of aromas, colors, and textures. The journey includes tastings of selected cheeses and cold cuts, different types of bread, savory croissants, fragrant pastries, and marinated vegetables, alongside sweet creations, mignon, and single portions that change with the seasons.
To complete the experience, there are dishes that evoke the warmth of a family Sunday: lasagna, roast meat, apple pie, and other great traditional classics, capable of bringing back memories of the simple and authentic pleasure of sharing a meal.
All this takes shape in one of the city’s most iconic locations. La Ménagère, founded in 1896 as a refined homewares and gift shop, is now a unique space in the Florentine landscape: a restaurant, cocktail bar, flower shop, and meeting place where design, culture, and gastronomy come together. Its restyling bears the signature of architect Claudio Nardi, created in synergy with the vision of the Manfredi family, who have transformed this historic address into a vibrant and contemporary venue.
With its new Sunday brunch, La Ménagère invites you once again to enjoy a special experience: an occasion where taste meets aesthetics, and conviviality becomes a ritual to be shared.
Thus, amid the aroma of warm bread, light filtering through the windows, and the pleasure of shared dining, Sunday at La Ménagère becomes a small contemporary ritual: a moment suspended in time to be savored slowly, in the heart of Florence.
An invitation to slow down, rediscover the pleasure of conviviality, and experience Sunday as a moment of authentic beauty, where taste, design, and atmosphere come together. Because sometimes all it takes is a beautifully laid table, a good meal, and the right company to transform an ordinary Sunday into a moment to remember.
