Lisa Di Giovanni Honored at the Chamber of Deputies: From News Reporting to Poetry, a Voice in Journalism That Celebrates Freedom
The institutional event “Libere di scegliere” (Free to Choose), dedicated to the values of freedom, responsibility, and informed choices, took place at the Chamber of Deputies, in the prestigious Sala del Refettorio. Among the event’s key figures was journalist and writer Lisa Di Giovanni, honored for her professional and cultural career, built on a foundation of journalism, social commitment, and the promotion of culture.
This is an important recognition that honors a figure capable of combining journalistic rigor, human sensitivity, and poetic depth. Originally from Abruzzo and a resident of Rome for over twenty years, Di Giovanni has maintained an intense and consistent career over the years, keeping her connection to her homeland alive and transforming communication into a tool for storytelling, listening, and responsibility.
The event, organized by journalist and host Jessica Fegatilli together with attorney Eufemia Ferrara, was attended by representatives from the judiciary, politics, culture, entertainment, and media. Among the award recipients were also magistrate Valerio De Gioia, Hon. Santori, Hon.
