After the success of the first two summer evenings, Lupaia, the boutique hotel in the heart of Val d’Orcia, part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World circuit, continues its series of events entitled “Dinners with the Local Winemakers”, designed to promote the region’s excellent wines through exclusive dinners, meetings with producers, and moments of conviviality.
Thursday, September 4 will be the turn of La Combarbia, a historic Montepulciano winery founded in the 1960s. With a production that stems from respect for nature and tradition, the company interprets Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG with elegance and authenticity, combining artisanal methods and innovation to best express the unique terroir of the appellation.
The evening, open to both guests of the hotel and the general public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an aperitif at the Belvedere di Lupaia accompanied by live music by Marco Pisaneschi, followed by a four-course dinner created by Executive Chef Luca Oriani, designed to pair with the wines of the guest winery to create a sensory journey through taste and territory.
Following this, Lupaia’s calendar offers a new event on Thursday, October 9, with the participation of Podere della Bruciata, a young winery that interprets Tuscan winemaking tradition with a contemporary sensibility. Located between Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme, the winery is known for its natural wines, an authentic expression of a contemporary Tuscany that respects its roots.
“These events are becoming a real ritual, an opportunity to create a special bond between our guests and those who live and breathe viticulture every day,” says Christopher Mueller, owner of Lupaia. “Every dinner is a journey that combines music, cuisine, and wine, but above all, people and stories.”
