Milan Golden Fashion 2026: In Milan, fashion meets culture and social commitment.
At the Winter Garden of the Civic Aquarium, the ninth edition of the event conceived by Graciela Saez brought together nine international designers.
The evening also featured music, the Milan Golden Fashion Awards, and efforts to raise awareness about violence against women.
During the week when Milan turns its attention to the new collections, the Winter Garden of the Civic Aquarium hosted a fashion show centered on the convergence of cultures.
On Friday, September 25, the ninth edition of Milano Golden Fashion, conceived and directed by Graciela Saez, brought together designers from Europe and Latin America, pairing the fashion shows with music and social awareness initiatives.
The collections by Delfine Sannajust, Luciano Saltos, Cristina Cabana, Elvia Cor, Grisel Leblanch, Viktorija Dzimrevska, Lis Vidal, Soledad Villa, and Nurima Ralph Licorish brought to the runway creative visions inspired by France, Ecuador, Argentina, Spain, Cuba, Macedonia, and El Salvador. Nine different designers and artistic visions, brought together in an event that embraced diversity as its defining feature.
Anthony Peth hosted the evening. Singer Anna Tiozzo performed at various points throughout the event: from the opening to the tune of I Will Always Love You to the finale with Always Remember Us This Way.
Graciela Sáez is an Argentine artist known in her country for her career as a theater and television actress, director, and producer, having won several awards throughout her career for her interviews with figures from the worlds of fashion and entertainment around the globe. She had the opportunity to meet fashion designers for whom the idea of Milan was a dream, and for this reason she took on a new challenge: giving designers from around the world the chance to showcase their creations during the world’s most important fashion week. This is how Milano Golden Fashion was born.
Awards in the Fields of Art, Journalism, and Civic Engagement
The evening also featured the presentation of the 2026 Milano Golden Fashion Awards. Diana De Marchi, chair of the Milan City Council’s Commission on Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights, received an award for her commitment to public service and solidarity.
Other honorees included Chiara Immordino Doria for the promotion of art, Matteo Cotellessa for research and communication, Davide Di Santo for multimedia journalism, and Hector Villanueva for social and humanitarian work.
A Runway That Speaks to Inclusion
The theme of inclusion ran through the 2026 edition, particularly through a focus on violence against women. Partner Catrice Cosmetics supported the charitable collaboration with FARE X BENE, an organization dedicated to listening to and supporting people who experience violence and abuse.
It is in this interplay between creativity and responsibility that Milano Golden Fashion finds its identity: the runway becomes a space to encounter diverse cultural expressions and draw attention to issues that extend far beyond the evening itself. Within the Milano Fashion Week calendar, the event conceived by Graciela Saez thus offered a perspective on fashion as an opportunity for dialogue and participation.
