On the centenary of Claude Monet‘s death, Milan inaugurates a sensory journey that pays homage to the master of Impressionism. “Monet: The Immersive Experience” transports the public into his landscapes of light and color, transforming his most famous canvases into dynamic environments where every brushstroke comes to life.
A unique opportunity to rediscover Monet’s legacy through a contemporary and engaging language, at the Spazio Ventura in Milan, from December 5 to April 4, with almost 2,000 square meters of “immersive art” and virtual reality to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the death of the master of Impressionism.
“Immersive art, like all digital experiences, now represents an alternative to the world of social media and the Internet,” emphasized Roberta Saldi, Corporate & Co-Marketing Manager at Exhibition Hub.
2026-1926: the centenary of Claude Monet‘s death opens with an extraordinary exhibition that aims to make immersion its strong point. Coming to Italy at the Spazio Ventura in Milan from December 5 to April 4, 2026, “Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience” is an art exhibition that brings to life the vibrant and dreamlike world of Claude Monet (Paris, November 14, 1840 – Giverny, December 5, 1926). The exhibition is presented by Exhibition Hub, curator, producer, and international distributor of major exhibitions and family entertainment experiences (such as the immersive exhibition on the Titanic at Scalo Farini), in collaboration with Fever, the leading global platform for discovering live entertainment experiences.
Almost 2,000 square meters of exhibition space will showcase over 300 important works using 4K digital technology. A totally immersive 360-degree digital masterpiece celebrating Monet’s most iconic works, including masterpieces such as the Water Lilies series; Impression, Sunrise, combining poetry and sophisticated technology in an experience that continues to enchant audiences around the world.
A large-scale sound and image show that transports visitors into a reality mediated by the artist’s impressions rather than a cold reproduction of the real world.
“A modern Monet, contemporary and projected towards the future. This is the spirit with which our exhibition, returning after years to Milan in the Spazio Ventura in the heart of the Lambrate district, aims to attract enthusiasts and others to discover the works of one of the masters of world Impressionism,“ commented Roberta Saldi, Corporate & Co-Marketing Manager of Exhibition Hub. ”Immersive art, like all digital experiences, now represents an alternative to the world of social media and the Internet. And never before has there been such an urgent need for harmonious and positive communication. This is a wonderful opportunity, especially for young audiences, who now have the chance to approach art in an alternative way.
A new exhibition concept that, without betraying the original wonder of classical art, uses immersive digital tools to amplify its effects and sensations.
“Immersive art allows for a virtual reinterpretation of art and, therefore, allows us to discover a resource in which to immerse ourselves, acquiring empathy for creativity, the educational and salvific value of artistic expression, and the power of beauty,” added Professor Maria Rita Parsi, educational psychologist, psychotherapist, and former sole Italian member of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
The exhibition is sponsored by the 3rd District of the Municipality of Milan.
The exhibition is held at Spazio Ventura (Via Privata Giovanni Ventura 15 in Milan), a prestigious location in the heart of the Lambrate district and easily accessible by the Linea Verde MM2 (Lambrate stop), Stazione FS Milano Lambrate, Tram 33 (Piazzale Rimembranze di Lambrate stop) and Bus 54 (Via Pitteri or Lambrate FS stops).
