Founded in 1980, the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) is dedicated to uniting, celebrating, enriching, and empowering generations of Italian American women. The National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) is a community of Italian American women composed of diverse professionals. Members include doctors, lawyers, artists, scientists, nurses, businesswomen, educators, writers, judges, and housewives. It is the only national organization in the United States composed of women of Italian descent. Its members include:
