DOMINAE PRESENTS “VALORE DONNA”: THE FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN IS LAUNCHED, reaffirming the company’s active role in promoting women’s awareness, autonomy, and personal and professional growth.

There was a large turnout at the event organized in Rome in partnership with Azimut, in Rome, featuring “Valore Donna – The First Step Toward Your Financial Awareness”, an event promoted by DOMINAE – Association of Made in Italy Women Worldwide, the initiative represented a moment of great cultural and educational value, confirming DOMINAE’s ability to identify the real and current needs of women and transform them into concrete opportunities for growth, dialogue, and awareness.

At the heart of the meeting wasthe relationship between women and money, financial literacy, economic autonomy, and freedom of choice—issues that are increasingly central to women’s personal and professional development today—

The event addressed fundamental issues such as cultural conditioning, the difference between economic independence and financial independence, the weight of educational and emotional stereotypes, and the role of knowledge in everyday decisions.

Taking part in the discussion were Fabiana Romano, President and Founder of DOMINAE; Fabiola Cuccureddu, Executive Manager of Azimut’s Sales Division for Lazio, Sardinia, and Abruzzo; Marianna Parlapiano, Head of Training at DOMINAE; Patrizia Palma, DOMINAE Regional Representative for Lazio; and Valeria Santoro, journalist for MF – Milano Finanza and author of the book Denaro al femminile. The debate was moderated by Corriere della Sera journalist Andrea Celesti.

Particularly significant was the interactive segment dedicated to reflecting on the beliefs that influence our relationship with money. The discussion with the audience revealed how cultural, educational, and emotional stereotypes continue to influence the economic and financial decisions of many women even today.

During the meeting, data was also shared that confirms the urgency of the issue: approximately 60% of Italian women do not invest, one in three women is financially dependent on her partner, and nearly half do not have a bank account held solely in their own name.

Through this initiative, DOMINAE has chosen to address the topic of personal finance using language that is accessible, practical, and relevant to women’s lives, breaking down taboos and prejudices that remain all too deeply rooted. This approach reaffirms the association’s mission: to create spaces for awareness, education, and connection capable of fostering genuine women’s empowerment.

During the interactive session, participants had the opportunity to reflect on the meaning they attribute to money. The responses revealed that money is perceived primarily as a means of security, but also as a resource for carrying out projects, gaining greater freedom of choice, and supporting loved ones.

One message ran throughout the entire meeting: taking care of your money means taking care of your time, your opportunities, and your future.

The enthusiasm and engagement shown during the event demonstrate just how great the need is to address the topic of financial literacy in an accessible, practical, and unbiased way,” comments Fabiana Romano, President and Founder of DOMINAE. “We were particularly struck by the presence of so many women who were not members of our association but chose to participate because they were interested in exploring these topics further. This is an important sign: talking about money means talking about freedom, autonomy, and the ability to make choices. With ‘Valore Donna,’ we aim to offer women useful tools to strengthen their independence and face the future with greater awareness.”

Building on the experience of the event, the training program “Valore Donna” is now officially launching. It was conceived by Marianna Parlapiano and is promoted by DOMINAE with the support of Azimut and in collaboration with professionals and experts in the field.

The program will consist of four in-person training days, scheduled between October 2026 and January 2027 in Rome. The first module will focus on the relationship with money, the beliefs that influence decisions, and the connection between money, time, and freedom. The second will address the foundations of financial peace of mind, delving into the topics of income, spending, savings, and investing. The third will focus on financial tools to protect and grow wealth over time, while the final module will explore the connection between personal finance, career, business, and the realization of one’s professional goals.

“Valore Donna stems from the belief that financial intelligence is not an innate talent, but a skill that anyone can develop,” explains Marianna Parlapiano, Head of Training at DOMINAE. “That’s why we’ve created a practical and transformative program that alternates between training, exercises, and opportunities for discussion. The goal is not merely to transfer knowledge, but to guide participants on a journey of growth that enables them to turn awareness into action and information into concrete choices.”

With Valore Donna, DOMINAE once again demonstrates its ability to promote concrete, high-impact initiatives that combine training, culture, networking, and personal development. A program that doesn’t just talk about empowerment, but translates it into tools, relationships, and skills useful for building greater autonomy, confidence, and freedom of choice.

DOMINAE – Association of Made in Italy Women Worldwide promotes initiatives aimed at highlighting the talent, leadership, and contribution of women to the country’s economic, cultural, and social growth, by supporting training, networking, and professional development programs.
