The B-Roof of the Grand Hotel Baglioni inaugurates “B-Moments”: contemporary Tuscany seen from above with a new series of themed events that combine food and wine, culture, and lifestyle, transforming Florence’s most iconic rooftop into a space for meeting, dialogue, and discovery, where Tuscany can be observed and experienced from a privileged perspective.
The first event is dedicated to wine with B-Wine and the Tuscan Wine Dinner, a tasting experience that celebrates some of the most significant Tuscan wineries: Dievole, Tenuta Meraviglia, Tenuta Le Colonne, Podere Brizio, and Poggio Landi.
There is a point above the rooftops of Florence from which Tuscany seems to reveal itself with greater clarity. This is where B-Moments, the new project by B-Roof, the panoramic restaurant of the Grand Hotel Baglioni, comes from. Starting on February 18, it offers a calendar of immersive experiences designed to interpret contemporary Tuscany through taste, culture, and lifestyle.
B-Moments is not just a series of events, but a true curatorial project: the rooftop is transformed into a place of discussion and discovery, thanks to collaborations with brands and cultural entities of excellence, appealing to an audience of enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the media, united by the desire to enjoy authentic and curated experiences.
The calendar will open with B-Wine, the format dedicated to regional wine excellence. On Wednesday, February 18, in partnership with ABFV Italia, Gambero Rosso’s 2026 Winery of the Year, B-Roof will host a tasting event bringing together some of the most representative expressions of the Tuscan wine scene, from Chianti Classico to Bolgheri to Montalcino.
The evening will be divided into two distinct parts. In the afternoon, a masterclass reserved for journalists and industry professionals will offer an in-depth guided tour of the wines and their territories of origin. Following this, from 8 p.m., the public will be able to participate in the Tuscan Wine Dinner, a tasting dinner open to the public by reservation, designed to showcase Tuscan gastronomic tradition through carefully studied and coherent pairings.
Both events will be hosted by food journalist and sommelier Leonardo Romanelli.
The Tuscan Wine Dinner gastronomic journey reinterprets the great classics of Tuscan cuisine in a contemporary key, with dishes that dialogue with the selected wines in a narrative of territory, technique, and memory.
The gastronomic journey begins with a ribollita by B-Roof, reinterpreted as a creamy black cabbage soup, enriched with a borlotti bean foam and finished with Dievole 1090 extra virgin olive oil, paired with Dievole’s Toscana IGT Trebbiano Campinovi 2023. This is followed by a Florentine egg with a creamy yolk, nestled on tender baby spinach, with a seasoned pecorino cheese sauce and a hint of black truffle, accompanied by Chianti Classico DOCG Casanova 2023.
