The Furrows Theory and the third level of biophotonic coherence: towards a physics of living memory
In the search for a unifying principle between physics, biology, and consciousness, the Furrows Theory proposes a new interpretation of the phenomenon of memory.
According to this model, every informational event produces a real trace in the biological substrate: a furrow in which matter and light interact until they achieve mutual coherence.
In this state, information is not dispersed but stabilizes in a resonant cavity, becoming a structure that is coherent over time. This is where memory finds its physical basis: not as a passive archive, but as a living resonance between energy and matter.
The theoretical basis: granular space-time
At the root of the theory is the hypothesis of a granular space-time, i.e., composed of discrete units of energy. In this view, biological reality is not a homogeneous continuum, but a field in which each process is a coherent interference of energy waves.
Living beings, therefore, are not just organized matter, but informed energy, capable of imprinting and maintaining stable traces in their own structure.
Matter, light, and furrows
Every perceptual or bioelectromagnetic impulse generates an interaction between waves of different frequencies.
The high frequencies of the biophotonic field are captured by cellular microstructures, creating small resonant cavities: furrows.
In these cavities, biological light remains coherent over time, becoming a physical memory of the event.
This is a resonant equilibrium, a condition in which matter and light do not add up, but agree, generating a new reality: the third level of biophotonic coherence.

Abstract (English version)
The Theory of Furrows introduces a unifying paradigm for understanding memory as a physical-energetic phenomenon embedded within a granular space-time structure. It proposes the existence of a third level of biophysical reality, defined as a bio-photonic coherence level, where matter and light interact until they reach a resonant equilibrium. In this state, information is no longer pure energy nor pure matter but a coherent temporal structure — a living memory.
The model describes furrows as resonant cavities capable of trapping luminous information in a stable form, offering a physical basis for memory persistence and for the emergence of consciousness as a unitary field.
This theoretical framework suggests that living systems function as self-organizing resonant structures, capable of writing and preserving information within the fabric of space-time itself.
