Casa50, the new Mediterranean restaurant from the Gruppo 50 Kalò, which opened last September, unveils its December program as an invitation to enjoy the holidays surrounded by flavors, soft lighting, and moments that feel like home.
In an early 20th-century building overlooking the port of Mergellina, Casa50 welcomes guests with the grace of a place that preserves memory and modernity: natural colors, soft lighting, measured design details, and antique majolica tiles brought back to life, like petals of history resurfacing from time.
The project’s precious treasure is the large garden, a secret oasis between Via Caracciolo and Piazza Sannazaro: centuries-old palm trees and Mediterranean plants intertwine their shadows, creating an unexpected refuge where time seems to slow down.
Between sofas and an elegant bar counter, the Mediterranean Brunch comes to life: from December 6 and every Saturday of the month, from 11:00 a.m., a ritual of taste and music with DJ sets, hot dishes, and finger food. An experience that recalls the soft clubbing that enchants international capitals, a new, sweet way of being together.
On Saturday, December 20, Casa50 brings the spirit of Nicola a Le Fumarole, Ischia’s iconic restaurant famous for its seafood cuisine that reflects the identity of the green island, to Naples. From Maronti to the Neapolitan seafront, a sensory journey through the scents, memories, and charms of Ischia: from brunch to a four-course dinner created by chefs Adele and Lucia Di Meglio, a blend of flavors that speaks of love for their homeland.
The Pranzo delle Feste awaits guests on December 25 and 26 and January 1, celebrating the ritual of conviviality. The menus, created with respect for the seasons, blend Neapolitan tradition and contemporary interpretation with precise, sincere, and never artificial gestures: appetizers that play with textures and vegetable cooking methods; first courses that preserve the heart of tradition; meats from selected suppliers and the catch of the day cooked on the large Josper grill, the restaurant’s true living fire; and pastries that sweetly recount the festivities. Much of the vegetables and citrus fruits come from the Orto di Posillipo di Casa50, a historic farm overlooking the Gulf, where nature grows slowly and generously, bringing the most authentic essence of the home to the table.
Casa50 is a harmonious balance between memory and modernity; it is family, warmth, and Mediterranean spirit. It is the promise of a place where you feel welcomed, listened to, and celebrated.
At a time when Naples is once again shining on the international tourism map, Casa50 offers a haven that combines tradition and contemporary flair: Mediterranean cuisine, modern design, and a glamorous elegance that comes naturally, like a smile.
Born from the vision of Ciro Salvo and Alessandro Guglielmini, the restaurant expands the identity of the 50 Kalò Group — which includes 50 Kalò Napoli, 50 Kalò London, 50 Kalò Roma, 50 Panino, and the B&B 50 Suite — bringing Mediterranean cuisine to a charming architectural space and pairing it with an agricultural laboratory, the Orto di Posillipo, the green soul of the project.
Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Casa50 is one of the most fascinating new destinations for experiencing Naples at its most intense, starting with the magic of the holidays.
