For two days, the village of Montecatini Alto will be transformed into a fairytale setting with a dreamlike atmosphere and performances from times gone by. Oltre la Rocca returns for the fifth consecutive year, an event scheduled for Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, which will enliven the charming streets of Montecatini Alto. The event, produced by the Key company of Fucecchio with artistic direction by Matteo Del Rosso and realized with the contribution of the municipality of Montecatini Terme, will host street artists from all over the world, who will perform in the historic town amid magic and dreams.
A program packed with shows and many exciting performances along the streets of the medieval village. New to this edition will be artistic performances inside the historic fortress, in addition to shows at the Largo Luigi Gori viewpoint, opposite the former Quisisana. There will also be markets, an art exhibition, and street food, for an event dedicated to families, from adults to children.
The shows will be accessible to everyone, with performances at the fortress having limited seating and being repeated throughout the evening. For performances at Largo Luigi Gori, it will be necessary to reserve free seats through the website https://www.oltrelarocca.it/, where the complete program of the event is also available.
The event, which will start at 7 p.m. on both days, will end at midnight. For the occasion, the Funicular will run to and from Montecatini Terme, and a shuttle service will depart from the Fedeli car park.
