“Rosso Divino” at Laqua Vineyard – wine becomes art and stellar cuisine

Laqua Vineyard—a refined oasis of hospitality created by Antonino Cannavacciuolo in the heart of the Pisan hills—together with the historic La Spinetta winery, partner and co-creator of the event, presents “Rosso Divino”, an exclusive event celebrating the poetic encounter between fine food and wine and visual creativity.

Set amid vineyards, breathtaking landscapes, and contemporary design, the evening—which will take place on Friday, September 26—unfolds through a unique immersive experience, where each dish becomes a color, each wine an inspiration, and each course an emotion.

The star of the dinner will be the cuisine of Head Chef Marco Suriano, the gastronomic soul of Laqua Vineyard, who earned his first Michelin star for his cooking, an award he dedicates to all his experiences and the beloved recipes of his childhood. Marco Suriano has created a menu for the evening inspired by the colors and nuances of wine. Each dish tells a story of a shade, a combination capable of surprising and engaging.

We start with a pink-hued aperitif, accompanied by the elegant bubbles of Contrattino, and then let ourselves be guided through the delicacy, like that of a white canvas, of Scampo alla Pizzaiola, enhanced by the freshness of Contratto Millesimato Alta Langa DOCG Pas Dosé. The journey continues with the intense red of the Scorfano, Alghe e Limone (Scorpionfish, Seaweed and Lemon), paired with Il Nero di Casanova 2024 – Toscana Sangiovese IGT, a dish that plays with the depths of the sea and citrus contrasts. Next, the ruby red Finto Foie Gras with Cashews, Corn, and Wood Sorrel—a refined balance between intensity and delicacy—finds its perfect voice in Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2024 – La Spinetta. To conclude, an evocative pre-dessert, based on Bread, Chocolate, Salt and Rum, dialogues with the aromatic notes of Moscato d’Asti “Bricco Quaglia” 2024, before the final petits fours.

A journey through textures, aromas and combinations designed to enhance the infinite nuances of wine, in a continuous dialogue between the kitchen and the cellar.

On this evening, wine will not only accompany the dinner: it will also take center stage on canvas. Thanks to the contribution of La Spinetta, partner of the event, Florentine artist Elisabetta Rogai, famous for her EnoArte technique, will create a work live using wine instead of colors, becoming the living material of creation. The performance will take shape before the eyes of the guests, who will witness the birth of a unique work, in which the chromatic nuances of wine are transformed into signs, emotions, and movement. The work created will be available for exclusive purchase at the end of the evening.

Rosso Divino is an experience that goes beyond simple tasting: an intertwining of flavors, glasses, and artistic gestures that transform dinner into an experience to remember.
