Paolino Capri x Orient Express La Minerva: from the Blue Island to Rome, a new journey into taste

From February 5 to April 26, 2026, in the heart of the Eternal City, a few steps from the Pantheon, Orient Express La Minerva hosts a collaboration that celebrates the excellence of Italian hospitality through the universal language of taste.

This is how Paolino Capri x Orient Express La Minerva”, a project that brings together two icons of Made in Italy united by profound values: authentic hospitality, respect for tradition, and care for the experience as a memory to be shared, was born.

The soul of Capri arrives in Rome

A timeless symbol of Capri’s identity around the world, Paolino Capri arrives in Rome, bringing with it the intimate and luminous atmosphere of its famous lemon grove.

For the occasion, La Minerva Bar, a refined all-day dining space in the hotel lobby, is transformed into a corner of the Blue Island: Capri’s iconic yellow and green colors dialogue with Roman elegance, among lemon trees and scenographic details that evoke the Mediterranean.

Founded in the 1970s by the De Martino family and now run by the second generation—Lino, Michela, and Arianna—Paolino continues to tell a story of authentic conviviality, made up of sincere cuisine, warm hospitality, and understated elegance.

A gastronomic experience between Capri and the Eternal City

The project takes shape in a sensory journey that intertwines the flavors, colors, and charms of Capri and Rome.

The mise en place, designed for La Minerva Bar, is embellished with artistic ceramics created through a collaboration between Lino di Paolino and Capri master ceramist Sergio Rubino: unique pieces that evoke nature and the most joyful Mediterranean aesthetics.

The menu: the great classics of Paolino Capri

The menu celebrates the traditions of Capri and Campania, respecting the original recipes and the quality of the raw ingredients.

Among the appetizers, the grilled mozzarella on lemon leaves and the iconic Bomba Paolino with fresh tomatoes and basil stand out.

The first courses reflect the soul of the island’s cuisine with Capri ravioli with cherry tomatoes or lemon, Mezzi paccheri “Chiummenzana”, and fettuccine with lemon on Sicilian shrimp carpaccio.

The main courses celebrate tradition with dishes such as old-fashioned squid and potatoes, half chicken with lemon, and grilled lamb ribs with Anacapri oil.

To round off the experience, there are desserts that are symbols of Neapolitan pastry-making: Caprese cake, lemon delight with wild strawberries, and Neapolitan pastiera with Chantilly cream, accompanied by the unmistakable Limoncello di Paolino.

Signature cocktails inspired by the Blue Island

To enrich the offering, La Minerva Bar offers a selection of signature cocktails created for the occasion. Five drinks that evoke the scents, aromas, and colors of Capri.

These include Essenza di Capri, which enhances the notes of limoncello with Altamura Vodka, citrus and cucumber cordial, and Italian sparkling wine, and La Dolce Isola, a tribute to basil with cedar essence, Tanqueray Ten, and Venturo Aperitivo Mediterraneo.

An invitation to the art of Italian hospitality

The collaboration between Paolino Capri and Orient Express La Minerva is an invitation to enjoy an experience of authentic Italian hospitality, where the pleasure of dining becomes sharing, memory, and emotion.
